Scratchboard

This is a tiger's claw mark, with the tiger looking through it.  I chose to draw this, because when I found the drawing, I liked the patterns that showed through the scratched piece of fabric.  I thought it would be cool to try and draw something new and different.

Kevin Hart-Value Graphed Portrait

This is not the first time I have actually done this project.  I did this project on Charlie Wilson my eighth grade year, and ended up not getting to finish it.  From the previous experience, Charlie wore a hat and dark clothing showing, and I knew I didn't that again.  So, I chose this portrait of Kevin Hart to do, because of what I've learned from my past experience and I love his acting.

7 Color Schemes

For this project, I couldn't think of anything to draw that would show all seven color schemes.  In the end I just decided to draw some shapes.  As for the eye, I just wanted to see how well I could draw one.  Then, I went through all of the shapes and put a different color scheme on it.

Color Wheel

For the color wheel project, I knew I wanted to draw something round.  At first I was going to do a snow cone, but that wasn't working out as well as I wanted.  So, I thought to draw something else I like to eat that's round, and thus why I drew two ice cream cones with six scoops of ice cream each.

Portfolio Cover: Back

This is one side of my portfolio cover.  While preparing for this project, I knew I wanted to insert my name on it.  Then, I realized that might be too simple, so made blocks around the letters, along with an inspirational message.

Portfolio Cover: Front

The drawing above is one side of my portfolio.  I knew I wanted my portfolio to be simple, so basically drew something simple that I like to draw.  I love drawing the s behind the words, so I just enlarged it and put My Portfolio in front of it.
